Fortress Protection Services is a Victorian owned security company supplying licensed security guards, crowd controllers, mobile patrols and concierge officers to businesses across Melbourne and regional Victoria. Every officer holds an individual Victorian security licence, is police-checked, and works a supervised shift that produces a written, time-stamped report. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and cover 17 areas from the Melbourne CBD out to Traralgon and Shepparton.
Who do we work for?
Our clients are building managers, retailers, construction project managers, event organisers, owners corporations, warehouse operators and healthcare facilities. Some need one overnight guard for a fortnight. Others need a rostered team across several sites indefinitely. Both are quoted the same way: a written scope, a fixed rate, and no charge that was not agreed before the first shift.

Who we are
Victorian owned, and deliberately focused
Fortress Protection Services is a Victorian owned and operated security company providing licensed guards, crowd controllers, mobile patrols and protective services across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
We are not trying to be the biggest security company in the state. We are trying to be the one you never have to think about — the shift covered, the officer on time, the report on your desk in the morning. That means taking on only the work we can staff properly, and turning down the work that would simply fill a roster.
Plenty of providers win a contract and then subcontract the shifts to whoever is free that night, which is why the officer who turns up has often never seen the site before. We do not work that way. Your site gets our own vetted officers, a consistent core team committed to it, and field supervision with unannounced checks.

Compliance is not optional
Security in Victoria is regulated under the Private Security Act 2004, and every individual officer must hold a current licence issued through the Victoria Police Licensing and Regulation Division.
We verify those licences at onboarding and re-verify them on renewal — not because a client asked, but because deploying an unlicensed officer exposes both of us.
