How our coverage works
We come to you
Fortress is a service-area business. Our registered office is at 3 Wellwood Ave, Williams Landing VIC 3027 — that is where the business is administered, not somewhere you need to visit.
Officers travel to your site
We do not claim a branch in every suburb we work in. If a provider tells you they have an office in seven regional cities, ask for the addresses.
Travel is quoted before you book
As its own line on the quote, so a Geelong or Bendigo booking carries no surprise item on the first invoice.
Not on the list? Tell us anyway
We will either quote it properly or say we cannot staff it reliably. We would rather decline a job than send an officer who does not know the site.

Geelong has grown fast, and so have the security demands that come with a busy waterfront precinct, a major port, expanding residential estates and an active events calendar.

Dandenong and the surrounding south east is one of Victoria largest industrial and logistics belts, which makes it a persistent target for warehouse break-ins, cargo theft and after-hours trespass.

Regional Victoria is too often served by operators who quote a response time they cannot hold and go quiet when the contract turns inconvenient. We would rather commit to Ballarat dates we can genuinely staff, and say so plainly when we cannot.

Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula swing between quiet winters and packed summer trading, and security needs swing with them. We scale teams up for the season rather than leaving venues short.

Melbourne western growth corridor has some of the fastest residential development in the country, and new estates mean active construction sites holding significant plant and materials overnight.

Melton & the Western Growth Corridor
Melton is one of the fastest-growing municipalities in the country, and growth at that speed brings a specific security problem: hundreds of part-built homes, display villages and civil works sites sitting unattended overnight, spread across estates that did not exist five years ago.
Sunshine
Brimbank & the Inner West
Brimbank carries a heavy share of Melbourne's warehousing, transport and light industrial floorspace, and those sites share a common exposure: long perimeters, roller doors facing quiet streets and stock that moves easily.
Craigieburn
Hume & the Northern Corridor
The Hume corridor runs freight. Distribution centres along the highway, the Somerton and Campbellfield industrial belts and the airport freight precinct all operate around the clock, and all of them need gatehouse control that does not slow the trucks down.
Epping
Whittlesea & Melbourne North
Epping works overnight. The wholesale market precinct, the cold-storage and logistics operators around it and the hospital campus all run shifts through the small hours, which is exactly when a site is least likely to be watched.
Box Hill
Whitehorse & the Inner East
Box Hill has densified faster than almost anywhere else in Melbourne's east — commercial towers, apartment buildings, a major hospital and a transport interchange inside a few blocks, with a night economy that keeps running long after the offices empty.
Ringwood
Maroondah & the Outer East
The Eastland precinct and the business parks strung along EastLink give Ringwood a working day that starts early and a car park problem that runs late. Most of what we handle here sits in that gap.
Cranbourne
Casey & the South East Corridor
Casey is the most populous municipality in Victoria and it is still building. Clyde North and Botanic Ridge alone put thousands of part-built dwellings and civil works sites into rotation, and unattended sites are where the losses happen.
Mornington Peninsula
The Peninsula & Western Port
The Peninsula has two security seasons. Through summer the population multiplies, venues run at capacity and licensed premises need crowd controllers who can manage a holiday crowd. Through winter, whole streets of houses sit empty.
Traralgon
Latrobe Valley & Gippsland
The Latrobe Valley runs industrial sites with real perimeters — energy infrastructure, plant, contractor compounds and rehabilitation works, most of them carrying far more fence line than staff.
Shepparton
Goulburn Valley & Northern Victoria
The Goulburn Valley runs on food processing and freight, and both peak hard at harvest. Plants take on seasonal workforces, depots fill, and sites that were quiet for months are suddenly running extra shifts.

The areas above are the ones with a page of their own, not the limit of where we work. If your site sits outside them, officers travel from our Williams Landing base and any travel is stated in the quote — no surprise line items, and the same licensing, reporting and supervision as a metro shift.
