What happens when your alarm activates?
A licensed officer is dispatched, assesses the perimeter before approaching, enters and checks internally where we hold access and it is safe, escalates to police if there are signs of forced entry or a person on site, notifies you either way, secures the premises where possible and sends a written report with photographs the same night.
An alarm activation at 2am creates one immediate question: who drives to the site. If the answer is you, or a staff member, that is a safety problem before it is a security one.
Most activations are false — wind, a bird, a faulty sensor, a staff member with the wrong code. That is not a reason to skip attendance; it is the reason attendance should not cost you a fortune. Alarm response is priced per callout rather than per shift, which is why it suits sites that need cover but cannot justify a guard.
If your site is generating repeated false activations we will tell you, because the fix is your alarm system rather than more callouts.
Alarm response is the fallback under mobile patrols: patrols cover scheduled windows, alarm response covers the gaps. A site with a static guard on it rarely needs either.

The real argument for it
Not speed — that no member of your team drives to a possibly-occupied premises alone at 2am. For businesses where the after-hours call goes to an owner or duty manager, this is usually why the service gets approved.
Lock-up
An officer secures the site at close so staff are not locking up alone after dark.
Unlock
The site opened and checked before staff arrive. For retail and hospitality with late finishes, this is frequently the part that matters most to the people who work there.
Where we deploy alarm response
We are a service-area business: officers travel to your site from our Williams Landing base, across metropolitan Melbourne and out to regional Victoria. Travel is quoted separately and up front, so you can see what coverage costs before you book.
Alarm Response FAQs
We prioritise alarm activations ahead of routine patrol work, and response is fastest where your site already sits on one of our patrol routes.
Yes. We can act as the response provider for alarms monitored by a third-party control room. We simply need to be listed as your keyholder response contact.
The officer identifies the cause where possible, resets the system if authorised, re-secures the site and reports the activation so recurring faults can be fixed.
Only with your written authority. Keys are stored in an audited, tamper-evident key safe with logged issue and return for every use.
